2012 USA Olympic Boxer, Cleveland Ohio's Terrell Gausha

Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. Terrell Gausha has been boxing since age 10. His rise to elite status happened in 2009 when he won the USA Championship. In 2010, 2011 and 2012 he participated in the World Series of Boxing. A semi-pro league where boxers keep their amateur status. In 2012 he stormed back onto the national scene and now he is preparing for London with set sights on the GOLD Medal. 2005 Glenville High School Graduate, Gausha started boxing at the Glenville Recreation Center in 1997 at the age of 10 instructed by Coach Bob Davis. Since 2007 he has trained at the East Cleveland Martin Luther King Jr Civic Center coached by Renard Safo. Safo is a United States Postal Carrier. Gausha's parents are his father Melton Gausha (deceased) and his mother Teretha Brown. Brown worked for Chrysler for 32 years, retired, and is currently employed in daycare.
