What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the 500L: For 2014, Fiat introduces something larger than the original 500 to compete in the 5-Door Hatchback. The Fiat 500L is Fiat's answer to possibly gain market share in the U.S. and by the looks of it Fiat might have the answer. The Fiat pulls you through a powerful 1.4 L MultiAir Turbo that gets decent full economy and comes with a 6-Speed Manual or a 6-Speed Automatic Manual. On the interior of the 500L you will find a decent interior and it may not have all soft touch interior materials inside, but Fiat decided to give the interior soft touch padding in some areas which is better than most of it's rivals. On the exterior of the Fiat you will find a European flare to it that has a love it or hate it styling. The Fiat has tons of features available including a panoramic sunroof, Backup Camera, and a Beats Audio sound system just to name a few and a spacious interior is evident also. Compared to it's competitors the 500L tends to be more on the expensive side, however the few extra grand is worth it considering how much content you get in the 500L. So is the 500L a top choice in the market that it's top dogs are the Kia Soul and Scion xB. Most certainly the 500L has a spacious cabin, high amount of features, and a strong engine that won't disappoint people who are in this market.
