The high quality system is mandrel bent with a straight through muffler and designed as a dual split system that exits the rear of the truck with two chrome plated tips. Durable Construction. The exhaust system is constructed of 304-grade stainless steel for great corrosion prevention and is mandrel-bent for optimal airflow and performance. The system bolts to the factory cat in conjunction to a resonator along 3-inch mandrel bent piping into the Borla muffler. From there the piping steps down to 2.25-inch and into a split design, that ends with two unique chrome 4-inch squared tips, that have a great Ford Racing embossed logo. Bolt-On Installation. The exhaust system is designed to be a bolt on unit that attaches to the factory cat utilizing the same factory hangers. Slight cutting might be needed for regular cab models. In addition, it’s important to note that SuperCab models equipped with an 8-foot bed will require the Ford Racing mid-pipe part # M-5248-F15163. Overall the installation should take about 2 hours with basic hand tools.
