2016 The Intersection Teaser Trailer

Coming this April 1 and 2nd, 2016 PHOENIX – A team of artists from local media and production company Union Digital will create a one-of-a-kind interactive art experience in downtown Phoenix on April 1 and 2. The installation – called “The Intersection” – will combine art and innovation using advanced digital projection technologies. The artists will transform the large picture windows on the historic A. E. England building, turning the Central Avenue store front into a fishbowl of images that visitors inside and out of the building can interact with and alter. Video projections will be connected to motion sensors that, when activated, will cause a visual effect or change. “The Intersection” was commissioned by the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture Public Art Program as part of Mayor Greg Stanton’s PHX Innovation Games.
