New developments in MRI and imaging technologies have brought about new theories. As Dr. Per Kristian Eide remarks, "we are now witnessing a paradigm shift regarding our concept of CSF flow and circulation." Studies in patients and using models that mimic idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus (iNPH) and idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) have done a lot to advance our knowledge in these areas. Dr. Eide gives a great presentation on the new theories that have come out. This presentation was made possible thanks to a generous grant from The Monkton Institute and was presented at the 2019 CSF Hydrodynamics Symposium held in Oslo, Norway.
