20unc06: MTF transsexual transition: How to be a great ally (maybe without even knowing it)

So this is a story about one of my classmates B. who was a fantastic ally during my coming out and transition at grad school, I think without knowing it, but it doesn't really matter. It goes to show how you can be a great ally without really doing all that much and help someone through an otherwise tough time.
