28 #Manipuri#Language_Day Observed At #Tripura.2019.#ICFAI_University

The 28th inclusion of Manipuri language in the Eighth schedule in the Constitution of India has been observed today on 24th August 2019 at 3-30 pm being organised by Manipuri students & Faculty members of ICFAI University Tripura.Rajkumar Jitendrajit Singha,President of Manipuri Sahitya Parishad,Tripura grace the function as a Chief Guest.Sri Rajiv Lochan Pareek,Vice Chancellor of ICFAI University was present as a Guest of honour.Prof N.Khoibi and Wangkhem Birmangal,Chief Adviser of Lamyanba Organisation were present as a Special Guests.The function was started by lighting up the candle by the dignitaries.The opening song was sung by the students and followed by nice cultural program.Manipuri language was included in the 8th Schedule in the Constitution of India in 1992 on 20th August.In every year Manipuri people observe this day colourfully as a "Language Day". https://youtu.be/vOBuv448c2Y
