At the Brayton Fire Field for the 2nd Annual Brazos County Field Day, 05/25/13
In this video, students attempt to extinguish a mock Liquid Propane Gas leak and fire. The video starts with the students attempting to cool the "vapor space" of the LPG tank to prevent a potential BLEVE (Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion.) After successfully "cooling" the tank, the students closed in on the valve and contained the flames, the allowing the instructor to move in and shut off the valve, extinguishing the flames and containing the leak.
