31 - Ericsson (MC12) Windows CE Pocket PC - Quick Overview

Welcome to Mike's Retro Tech. In this video I will give a quick review/overview of the Ericsson MC12 - Pocket PC Quite a rare piece of equipment, there are not many available for sale (2 on eBay currently) - Either people are collecting them and storing them away or no one wants them? It is a nice device, if a little heavy, but does everything you would expect from a pocket PC running Windows CE from the late 1990s. It hasn't seen much use since I got it, as the screen is really hard to read, even with the light turned on. There may be a back light module that can be purchased for it, but I don't have either the time or the money to expel on it. It is what it is, and will stay that way for some time to come. Watch out for a future video on the Pocket Programming Language (PPL) I used to use to program and develop with for these devices. I must drag out my old source code and see if it will compile again!
