On Sunday July 28th 2013, steam locomotive 3642 operated two return services between Sydney Central station and Hurstville, assisted by diesel locomotives 44211 and 4306. Upon completion of these services the train headed back to Picton and ultimately Thirlmere. We rode the train as far as Douglas Park, approximately 10 minutes away from Picton.
