"When I saw 3D printing and this idea of digital fabrication, my mind was just blown," Gorski said. That's why he left his lucrative corporate job and started Filament Innovations in 2015. They manufacture 3D printers. "I saw a need for 3D printers that were large scale, affordable, and built in America," Gorski said. Which is exactly what he's making in the restored barn behind his house in North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County. Printers run in the $10,000 to $13,000 range.
