3D Video images of HIV transfer between T cells through virological synapses

A virological synapse between two T cells starts with a transmitted light image of two cells with a synaptic button between them. The movie then shows the movement of the fluorescent viral protein (Gag) into the synaptic button, followed by transfer of material from the button into the target cells. Maximum intensity projection shown first, followed by a 3D reconstruction of the same images. Elapsed time is depicted in minutes:seconds.
