NOTE: This video is now included in the cpo's Master Video Page and Index (Searchable) located at http://cpoheli.blogspot.com/ In this video, I discuss, briefly, why I chose the Turnigy TGY-S306G-HV servos for my heli, but more importantly I show you how I elected to resolve the issue of the potential for the circuit board to short out on the metal servo body. In researching this servo, there have been several people who reported concerns of this potential electronics-to-metal contact, so I decided to fix it before it became a problem. Here are the specs for the servos: TGY-306G-HV High Voltage Ultra Fast/High Torque MG Digital Alloy Cased Servo Model: TGY-306G-HV Operating Voltage: 4.8V / 6V / 7.2V Operating Speed: 0.07sec.60º/ 0.06sec.60º/ 0.05sec.60º Stall Torque: 2.5kg.cm /3.1kg.cm /3.7kg.cm Size: 22.9X12.1X27.3mm Weight: 21g Motor: 12mm Coreless Potentiometer: indirect Drive Ball bearing: 2 Ball Bearing Gear: Metal Case: Aluminum Connector wire: 220mm Plug: JR/Universal ====================== Now that I have my new Tarot 450 Pro V2 Kit, it's time to get started on the build. Join me as I approach this build from a completely novice perspective. I'll be learning as I go, but hopefully someone can learn something from this...or at least get the courage to do it on your own. Thanks for watching!
