40k Pre-Heresy Stormbird

so, one day a friend asked me if I 'could' build a pre-heresy style Stormbird (the same friend who suggested sprucing up Odin the mighty Warbringer actually...he has a lot to answer for!) Working from a teeny tiny picture from an old 'space marine' manual I came up with this, the project sort of got a lot bigger than I first envisioned it as you can see from the comparison shots next to thunderhawks and Odin, all in all though an enjoyable project!
