419系 JR西日本 北陸本線 敦賀→南今庄 231M モハ418-15【交直切替】[MT54爆走]

10/08/01撮影 　敦賀駅を発車した電車は2006年（平成18年）9月24日に移動されたデットセクションを通過し、交流区間へと入ります。その後北陸トンネル内でMT54の素晴らしい音を響かせながら、南今庄へと向かいます。 　車輌は583系寝台特急形電車の改造である419系。撮影当時はすでに521系の投入が進む中、まだ敦賀～直江津間で運用されていました（現在は惜しまれつつ引退済み）。このD15編成の米原側先頭車は583系の面影を強く残すクハ419形です。 　The Hokuriku Main Line (北陸本線, Hokuriku-Honsen) is a 358.3 kilometer line of the West Japan Railway Company from Maibara Station in Maibara, Shiga to Naoetsu Station in Jōetsu, Niigata. It serves the Hokuriku region on the northern central coast of Honshū, the largest island of Japan, as well as offering connections to the regions of Kansai, Tōkai, Kantō, and Tōhoku. 　The 419 series (419系) is an EMU type operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West) on local services along the Japan Sea coast of Japan. They were converted from former 583 series sleeping car EMUs in the 1980s.
