6th Pay Commission: Good news for government employees

More than 19,000 officers and employees-pensioners of the state government will get a benefit of 8% inflation allowance while getting the Sixth Pay Commission. Sixth payroll employees will receive 12% DA. However, the decision will put an additional burden of Rs 1,071 crore on the state exchequer.
