765 Meets the OCS on Rockville Bridge!

On the weekend of August 18th and 19th, Norfolk Southern and Nickel Plate Road #765 put on a show that no railfan will soon forget. I don't think they could have thought of a better way to kick off the weekend, than with the once in a lifetime photo opportunity given to all of the photographers who lined the Susquehanna River. After the eastbound run of the employee special, it was heard over the scanner that Norfolk Southern's office car special would be right on its tail. The dispatcher himself had the 4 F units pull past the signal to provide this once-in-a-lifetime shot on the legendary Rockville Bridge. Like I said earlier, Norfolk Southern knows how to put on a show! This is just a small portion of the footage taken this weekend.
