1989 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer 4.0L I6 4x4 Command-Trac Renix Radiator Fan Switch: Standard Motor Products #TS258 Today the cooling system gets some diagnostic and replacement work done. My electric radiator fan doesn't turn on when it reaches over heating temperatures but will activate when the A/C is switched on. My guess is it needed a new Electric Fan Temperature Switch so that it will activate automatically again. I got the wrong sensor the first time. There a three separate sensors/senders/switches with my renix cooling system. The one I needed is a switch, not the sensors/senders that connect at the back of the head or on the lower driver side of the engine. My second cooling issue is a coolant leak coming from the back of the engine, more specifically ending at the bell housing. The drip is coming from a freeze plug that sits in the back of the engine behind the bell housing. The transmission has to be dropped to replace it. That will be in a later video though.
