Started singing and vocal training at the age of 12 - one of his teacher's being world reknown opera composer Giannis Boufides ("Stavrosis", 1st Performed at Washington DC - The White House). At the age of 20 he won a scholarship for an 1 year's Vocal Training course entitled "Total Voice Control" with Areti Touzides (Vocal Studio). Having spent some years of his childhood in England, his influences reside on bands like R.H.C.P., The Doors, Guns'N'Roses etc.. At the age of 20, he participated in the 2007 European RootsNRoutes project, in which his song, "The Funky Brother" has received tremendous acceptance and he personally was commented by Trugoy (Grammy Winner - De La Soul Member) as the "true miracle Greece has to show". Today he has released an album with his band Kay & The SchoolDrivers (released in March 2009 by Musicpost) and has been a producer for the album of C.O.D.E. released Jan. 2008. Kay, has performed in almost every major stage Athens has to show (Architecture Club, Mike's Irish Bar, Ennzo De Cuba, Rodon Live, Gialino Music Theater etc.), has been a freelance actor from 2008 (got an acting degree from East 15 Actor's Studio, London) and has been a screenwriter for the tv series "The Rockstar Wannabe" bound to be out Nov. 2011 by a major tv network. -- Kay & The SchoolDrivers are a funk/rock band based in Athens, Greece at the moment. Their album "PAME EKDROMH!" is out by March 2009 and is already considered one of the best albums in Greece as voted by AVOPOLIS e-magazine for NOVEMBER 2009.
