"A Person First" (amateur PR video on prosthetics )

This skit was written and acted in by the daughter of the owner of an artificial limb company in the Midwest. She and her friend are both members of a local theater company. The video was produced in response to regional presentations I was giving as Chairman of the Public Relations Committee of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists on the use of media to promote the profession. The non-amputee prosthetic arm she is using was designed and produced by one of her father’s prosthetists, and is used in local school and civic presentations on how a prosthesis works.
