Sometimes your dreams can come true! David Brown a volunteer at Watchet station was given a great present for his 70th birthday. The ultimate for a volunteer on the West Somerset Railway. A chance to take part in a STEAM ENGINEMANS COURSE run by some of his heros on the railway. A wonderful and memorable present to receive from his son Ian who is also a railway enthusiast. Both join two other would be steam locomotive drivers while his wife and the fortunate camera man, who are also both volunteers on the WSR, are offfered the rare opportunity to travel with the Guard in his guards van being towed behind GWR 5553.
