A Springtime 8F & Rear Gunner ! (2019)

A fine Spring day for filming the delights of mainline steam or was it ? Well the conditions were great unfortunately the star of the show at the front of the train was overshadowed by the class 37 diesel on the rear, which did more than take it's weight which was a shame as the 8F are well known for hauling heavy loads with no fuss. Thankfully most of the time I attend to avoid probable diesel assisted trips, but don't mind doing the odd few where I know the diesel on the rear should stay quiet, unfortunately I couldn't predict this one. Still the 8F was looking well turned out in all aspects ! It was a borderline decision whether to post this video but felt there was still some enjoyment to be had from watching it and filming it !
