Ableton Bass Tutorial - Deep House Bass Operator This Ableton Operator Deep House Bass Tutorial teaches you how to design a classic sub bass style sound using Ableton Live 9’s Operator Synth. This tutorial is also works perfectly for other underground dance music styles such as Tech House and Progressive House. We start by selecting a base oscillator and tweak the filters and envelopes to get a nice punchy but deep sound. The next step is to add another oscillator to thicken the sound and shape it’s harmonics. More punch is added using a pitch envelope before we add that old school Deep House vibe by using the Ableton Erosion effect to add some hardware sampler style crunch. 0:36 select the low pulse 24 and bring the filter down 1:50 select Oscillator B and pick a Saw 3 2:37 Pitch envelope.
