'Quality Audio FM Transmitter' This is how this circuit was described in the hobbyist magazine 'Everyday Electronics' having built the circuit I wouldn't say it has any great redeeming features to justify the 'Quality' statement. I haven't seen the magazine article I've only followed a circuit that I found on the web and I could well have missed some vital point but it works as well as any other little FM transmitter that I've built. If anyone has a copy of the original article I wonder if you could email a copy to me. I've used a double sided copper clad board and I've cut small pads on the board to form islands for me to solder onto. I've only used the one side of the board. I find this makes a very stable RF platform to build on and the very low stray capacitance and inductance associated with this type of layout has meant that I have had to modify the tuning coli and capacitor to suit. If you build this circuit on Veroboard you'll find that the strays will be different again, and you may well have to change the L and C to suit. Note it has been pointed out by Tomasitke who has followed this video and built a TX for himself that I have misplaced '0' The pencilled circuit diagram for the antenna tuner it should say 2N3904 (not 2N0394) I can very easily mix numbers up like this and I usually double check and then check again but if you go back to the video I do say I actually used a PN2222A but I think that you could use almost any general purpose NPN transistor Kind Regards ...
