In this video I provide an update on my second Amazon FBA product launch which has been live for a few days. I also discuss my Facebook advertising account being disabled for no apparent reason and the ManyChat Facebook ads chatbot campaign I have just setup. My second product launched a few days ago and so far has sold around 9 units, this is with zero reviews and using Amazon PPC only. It is important to get some clean PPC sales even if the ACOS is high. The reason for this is that you don't want to risk getting reviews from the first few sales otherwise they could trigger Amazon's review manipulation algorithm. By getting 5 to 10 sales before getting your first review it helps it look a lot more natural and is a safer way of launching a new FBA product. I believe I could fully launch this product using Pay Per Click only, however, Facebook may provide a more cost effective solution to boosting sales so I have also just started Facebook adverts combined with an automated chatbot. For my first product I ran a Facebook campaign from September to December last year without any issues. This advert has been de-activated during January as my product is ranked well organically. I logged into Facebook last night to setup a new campaign for my second product and was presented with the following message: "Your ad account has been flagged for policy breaches. Any ads that you're running have been turned off. If you believe that this is a mistake, please contact us." They do not provide any further details and there are no notifications or messages explaining the course of action they have taken. There is an option to appeal the decision, however, without knowing why it was disabled in the first place it is impossible to know what you are appealing against: "Your account has been disabled for not following Facebook's Advertising Guidelines. If you believe your ad account has been disabled by mistake, please give us more information so we can investigate the issue and hopefully reactivate your account." I believe my appeal is unlikely to succeed so the only way around it was to give another user admin account access to my business page and then use their account (with different payment information) to setup new adverts. When someone clicks the Facebook advert I have setup it activates a ManyChat sequence in Facebook messenger. This offers the visitor a 15% off discount code with the option to accept or decline the code. If they accept it they are sent the code and provided a link to the product on Amazon. If they decline code they are thanked for their interest and still offered the discount code in case they change their mind. In both cases if they click on the Amazon link they are automatically added to a review follow up sequence so that they can be contacted for ManyChat reviews at a later date. This is my first ManyChat Facebook Ads experiment and i'll be covering my results in future videos.
