The portable Tecsun X3 FM Radio is built with a solid aluminum frame to give it that "Sharp Looker" curb appeal. It does have FM Stereo! Aluminum frame. Metal speaker grill. FM reception is decent. MP3 playback sounds good. Rechargeable battery. Headphone audio is decent. Features that could be added or improved on: Display, more MP3 information would be ideal. Price. Larger capacity battery like an 18650 or even a BL-5C. Add Bluetooth functionality. Support for larger micro SD cards. 8GB is a bit on the small side. Overall its a buy for the Tecsun collector, and a person who loves the look and build quality of their devices. The sound quality is it's biggest selling point next to its aluminum frame. You can buy a radio with more features like the Q3 but will have to sacrifice a bit on the low end punch this unit produces. There are a ton of competing devices out there, but the simplicity of this device is what I was looking for.
