It's like my country exists in two universes, the one I experience directly, which is wonderful, efficient, and beautiful, and the one I hear about on television, which is decaying, rotten, and full of scum. Frankly, I'm sick of it. And I'm sick particularly of Donald Trump leveraging fear into hate. The list of things he wants me to be afraid of is so long that the thing I have become afraid of more than anything is him.
