Another Way to Remove Patina & Light Rust

(Read before trying) Here's an alternative method to remove patina & even light rust that forms on carbon steel. PLEASE NOTE: This alternative method may cause some visible scratches on certain polished blades surface, use with care & at your own risk!!!! This is NOT a polishing method, but rather, a way to remove tough patina/rust through abrasion! From the comments given, other (possibly better) ways of removing patinas & rust: 1) Toothpaste method 2) Polishing paste (Brasso etc.) - I recommend this for polishing/restoring highly polished or mirror finishes on your blades.
