Gianluca Corona was born in Milan, in 1969. He started drawing and painting at an early age, showing an interest and passion for the old masters paintings of the 1500s and 1600s, studying and experimenting with their techniques. In 1991 he received a diploma in painting from the fine arts academy of Brera in Milan, and in 1994 he became an apprentice of Mario Donizetti who played a fundamental role in his artistic and technical formation. Gianluca Corona has displayed his work in many Private and public collections. Corona lives and works in Milan.
