Arch Linux host - Teamviewer screen tearing and flickering problem

Any suggestions anyone? Any help is appreciated! Two completely different computers at different locations - when using Teamviewer on an Arch Linux host there's horrible screen tearing. Problem exists regardless what DE I use. Pc #1 - Lenovo T520 - 2nd gen i5 w/ intel video only. 8GB RAM. Pc #2 - Lenovo Y50-70 - 4th gen i7 w/ intel and nVidia GTX 860m (4GB) video and 16GB RAM. nVidia is not configured (although the problem exists even when it is). Again, any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!
