Archery | Mamluk Archery Technique | Ep.1 Release techniques Hello! Today my friend and I wanted to make a mini-series regarding 14th century Mamluk archery techniques which we studied from a book called Kitab fi Ilm An-Nussab by Kurtlulus Oztopcu. In this first episode, we demonstrate the release techniques. According from this book, there are 2 techniques and 2 techniques after release. These are itlaqi-i sakin , itlaqi-i muhtalas, farka and crescent. Just to make everything clear, we are not archery experts and qualified historians. We do not claim this technique to be superior to others.
