Assetto Corsa vs rFactor vs GTR2 vs GTREvo @ Mid Ohio (VLM)

Previous version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDiOF01OLgk (without Assetto Corsa) This is a video to compare Assetto Corsa vs GTR2 vs rFactor vs GTR EVO @ Mid Ohio (VLM) Assetto Corsa Mid Ohio (no chicane) (VLM converted) BMW Z4 GT3 (stock) Lap time: 1.23.816 BMW Z4 GTE (EGT mod by URD) Lap time: 1.23.234 (no chicane) (VLM converted) rFactor Mid Ohio (with chicane) (VLM) BMW Z4 GT3 (FIA GT3 2010 by Sandrox & GpFan) Lap time: 1.23.800 GTR 2 Mid Ohio (with chicane) (VLM) BMW Z4 GT3 Mod by Aleksss Lap time: 1.24.000 GTR EVO Mid Ohio (with chicane) (VLM) BMW Z4 GT3 Mod FIA GT3 by PetraGTC (1.4) Lap time: 1.23.765 This was done with highest graphic settings for all GTREVO, GTR2 and rFactor. Lap time was regular race time with 70 litres of fuel and no driving aids. This was by no means meant to show the best laptime - it was the best lap out of first 5 laps with the race setup at each platform. For Assetto Corsa I could get Mid Ohio only without the chicane so the difference in times should be visible ... but it isn't. Maybe because these were my first laps with BMW at Mid Ohio in Assetto. I also had less fuel in the tank (default settings for both cars). My point of view on the comparison of GTREVO, GTR2 and rFactor: - in terms of graphics from the onboard and outside it looks almost the same though the view of rFactor seems to be bit more "crispier", GTR2 has less graphic glitches - flickering etc. but in terms of performance .... GTR2 - 120 - 80 FPS... rFactor - 260 - 350 FPS, GTR EVO - 150 - 220. - FFB is better in rFactor with leo ffb plugin, GTR2 does not provide steering wheel getting softer when grip is lost, neither does GTR EVO though FFB in GTR EVO is better than in GTR2 - simulation terms - lap time was almost the same ... 1.24.0 on GTR2 and 1.23.8 on rFactor and 1.23.765 on GTR EVO ... no major differences except that in GTR2 it is more difficult to get out of sand trap and tires have less grip (but I guess that depends on the mod), GTR2 has a bit of an edge over rFactor in other issues: - animated pitcrew and track stewards - changing weather conditions - proper rain racing - 24h racing (with saving option) - DRIVING SCHOOL ! Assetto Corsa is not at highest graphical settings but quite high. The difference is quite visible and substantial in terms of graphics quality. It has great FFB (much better than all the other titles). The cars handle realistically but quite similarily to the gmotor 2 engine titles compared here in the video. What shuold be mentioned is the realism - the GT3 stock car of Assetto Corsa is very difficult to drive without driving aids (as it is in real life) so I had to turn them on.
