ASUS N56VZ keyboard malfunction

EDIT 2013-08-25: Problem is now solved. Sent it for repair using the ASUS warranty and got it back in just five days, excellent service. ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: My ASUS N56VZ has started acting up. When pressing certain keys on the keyboard, 1's are being randomly inserted. If numlock is turned off, the end-key is sent instead since they share the same key on the numpad. The actual numpad-1 key, however, does not work at all when pressed.
