Atlantic Wall Fortification Destroyed by the Sea

Once part of Hitler's Formidable Atlantic Wall none of these Pill Boxes on the Sliver Coast saw action and became useless & redundant one the Wall had been breached in Normandy. The Sea, Wind and Sand have since made a mockery of these supposedly indestructible defences. Many are now under water where the sea has washed away their foundations. This one is now situated uselessly inland as the sea has extended the beach. Taggers have now decorated these concrete monoliths which may occasionally provide shelter from the sun or the elements. The concrete itself must have been of good quality as it is often intact.
