Hawk-like birds called Black Kites in English, or "tonbi" (鳶)in Japanese, are always hovering and soaring over my rural, mountain campus. No big deal, except they like to swoop down, very quickly and snatch food out of your hands if you're walking and eating in an uncovered area. I've seen it happen - they are incredibly fast and accurate. So we have to warn all the Freshmen not to walk back to their dorms while eating for fear of a swoop attack. Somehow I don't think Hikosaemon has this problem in Tokyo... Thanks for watching! Leave a comment if you've ever been the victim of a sneak attack by an animal. -Jason more info on these birds: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Kite
