Audi A8 fuel pump - part II

- The second o-ring goes under the long hold down bolt - When installing the pump (rotating while pushing down), it'll bind against the back of the fuel tank. It doesn't just "drop" down, you have to force the turn to get past the high point. The Bentley doesn't make any mention of this. - If you have it right, the pump will sit completely flush w/o any tension. If it feels like one side is higher it's not correct....pull it out and try again. - The long bolt should thread in very easily. If you need a socket with a drive at the hand tightening stage, STOP. That means the pick up tube missed and you'll break it if you go any further. That's how I happened to have an extra screen in Part I :)
