Authentic Watches Omega Watch Customer Complaint

This is an account of our personal experience as customers of Authentic Watches (AuthenticWatches.com): This company sold us a watch through Amazon.com. We soon noticed that the watch started to run too fast, gaining a minute per day. We sent it to the company's "repair" department, and they kept it for 3 months, rarely answering communications when we asked what was taking so long. Then, when they finally sent it back, it was in an even more broken condition- now the hands wouldn't even move around the face. In the end, we paid Authentic Watches $2,595 for a watch that did not even function- this after the company made us wait for 3 months to fix it, and then sent it back with new damage. Finally, we spent an extra $600+ for a reputable local dealer to fix the watch since we were afraid to send it back to Authentic Watches. It is our opinion that Authentic Watches treated us with profound disrespect, and we recommend other consumers proceed with caution.
