Bag Opener and Resealer - SourceAmerica Design Challenge 2016

Team Falcon Synergy (#1632) from Poolesville High School in Poolesville, MD partnered with Horizon Goodwill Industries in Cumberland, MD to build a device to assist in opening and closing small resealable plastic bags. The device built, called the Bag Opener and ReSealer (BOaRS), increased all of the employees’ efficiencies and success rates by at least 30%, helping employees be more independent with more fulfilling lives. #DesignChallenge
