Jeffrey Gallant is an extremely passionate scientist who has dedicated his life to researching one of the most elusive sharks in the world, the Greenland Shark. Jeffrey tells us about himself, Greenland sharks, and why his research is so important. We also learn Jeffrey’s plan for his next research project; Capture as much research footage as possible of the Greenland sharks in Baie-Comeau, tagging them, and measuring them. We catch Jeffrey in an extremely hectic time, during his boat rebuild. He is re-outfitting his research vessel from the ground up. A sense of tension is added to the episode because if Jeffrey doesn’t get his boat ready in the small window of time that the Greenland sharks are thought to be in Baie-Comeau, he will lose the June window of opportunity based on his prediction model. https://rogueshark.discovery.ca Check out more at: http://www.discovery.ca/sharkweek Follow Discovery Canada on Twitter: https://twitter.com/DiscoveryCanada Follow Discovery on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/discoverycanada
