Baneglow Guide and Family Fighter Strategies

Baneglow guide! Walkthrough of the Baneglow pet battle on Argus showing you the fastest, easiest Baneglow strategy for your world quest as well as every family specific Baneglow strategy to get the Baneglow step of your Family Fighter achievement done! There are eighteen battle pet bosses on Argus in Patch 7.3. You are ONLY rewarded for fighting an Argus pet boss by doing its World Quest if said world quest is up. Outside of that, you may fight the Argus pet bosses as many times as you like (to work on your Family Fighter achievement, for example) but you won't be seeing pet supplies or any kind of reward from the battle. The Argus pet bosses do not have backline- you fight the one Legendary pet boss and that's it. They all have the Boss ability meaning they take 50% reduced damage and cannot be dealt more than 35% of their health in one hit. Also, many of the Argus Pet Bosses have this Greater Apocalypse that kills your team and ends the fight no matter what after 20 rounds. Family Fighter is an achievement which requires beating each of the 18 Argus pet bosses with a family specific team of each type. Eighteen bosses and ten families (Beast, Aquatic, Critters, Elemental, Humanoid, Mechanical, Dragonkin, Flying, Magic and Undead) means you'll need to complete 180 pet battles in order to finish Family Fighter in 7.3 and earn your Felclaw Marsuul. The ten achievements you'll need to complete for your Family Fighter Meta Achievement are Beast Blitz, Aquatic Assault, Critical Critters, Elemental Escalation, Humanoid Havoc, Mechanical Melee, Draconic Destruction, Fierce Fliers, Magical Mayhem and Unstoppable Undead. Baneglow Beast Strategy - for Beast Blitz Baneglow I use Moon Moon with Moon Tears, Howl and Moon Fang. Feline Familiar with Prowl/Onyx Bite is also good here. Baneglow Aquatic Strategy - for Aquatic Assault Baneglow I use Gahz'rooki (Swallow You Whole and Geyser), Hydraling (Shell Armor and Swallow You Whole) and a Moonshell Crab with Arcane Slash and Moon Tears. The Crab-first strat mentioned in the video is probably better but the job gets done either way. Baneglow Critter Strategy - for Critical Critters Baneglow I use snails with Acidic Goo and Ooze Touch. Two should do the trick. Baneglow Elemental Strategy - for Elemental Escalation Baneglow I used an Ashstone Core with Crystal Prison/Feedback, then Tainted Waveling and Fetid Waveling set up with Corrosion and Ooze Touch. Baneglow Humanoid Strategy - for Humanoid Havoc Baneglow I used Father Winter's Helper, Winter's Little Helper and Grumpling all with Gift of Winter's Veil and Snowball. Baneglow Mechanical Strategy - for Mechanical Melee Baneglow I use the Pocket Cannon with Arcane Shot, a Sunreaver Micro-Sentry with Laser and a Rascal Bot with Phaser. Baneglow Dragonkin Strategy - for Draconic Destruction Baneglow I used my Nexus Whelpling with Arcane Storm and Mana Surge. Stormborne is also a good pick here. Baneglow Flying Strategy - for Fierce Fliers Baneglow I use Ikky (Black Claw/Flock/Savage Talon). Baneglow Magic Strategy - for Magical Mayhem Baneglow I use the Empowered Manafiend with Arcane Storm/Arcane Blast/Surge of Power and then two backups also with Surge of Power just in case. Baneglow Undead Strategy - for Unstoppable Undead Baneglow I use an Unborn Val'kyr Shadow Shock / Curse of Doom/ Unholy Ascenscion, a Fragment of Anger with Soulrush/Spiritfire Bolt.
