The Adjusted Score is a methodology to help even out the playing field for players that do not have maxed out plants. The High Score is adjusted based on the player’s plant levels. In short - the lower the plant levels, the greater the adjustment. Not only does this produces fun and interesting results, but it makes for a more inclusive experience for those that would like to be recognized for their great scores! Here’s the process: 1) Adjust all plant levels to a 10 level scale. 2) Calculate player’s average plant level. 3) 10 divided by players average plant level gives us a factor. 4) Multiply factor by High Score to arrive at the Adjusted Score. Example: Player scores 1,000,000 with an average plant level of 8 (after plant levels are recalculated to a 10 Level scale). 10 divided by 8 = 1.25. 1.25 multiplied by 1,000,000 = 1,250,000.
