DAVID HASSELHOFF Character- MITCH BUCHANNON The LA County lifeguard was the main protagonist of the show. As a father figure and a responsible man, Mitch was one of the serious characters in the series. PAMELA ANDERSON Character- CJ PARKER One of the most popular lifeguards in television history, Casey Jean Parker aka CJ made Anderson a household name. The feisty yet caring character was introduced in the third season of "Baywatch" and soon became synonymous with the TV series. BROOKE BURNS Character-JESSIE OWENS The sizzling beauty was almost as popular as CJ (Anderson) when she joined the cast in Season 9. She started off as a cleaner who made mistakes but was adept in saving lives. TRACI BINGHAM Character- JORDAN TATE The first African-American lifeguard on the show, Traci gained popularity for her portrayal of the character. DAVID CHOKACHI Character- CODY MADISON An aspiring Olympic swimmer, Cody Madison was introduced in Season 6 and soon joined the lifeguard bandwagon. He was paired with CJ (Anderson) and they became a popular TV couple. GREGORY ALAN WILLIAMS Character- GARNER ELLERBEE Playing Sergeant Garner Ellerbee, Williams' character was a good friend of Mitch (Hasselhoff) on the show. He patrolled the beach and hated going into the sea. GENA LEE NOLIN Character- NEELY CAPSHAW One of the grey characters in the series, Neely Capshaw plays a brilliant lifeguard constantly at odds with her colleagues. Capshaw marries Mitch (Hasselhoff) but their marriage hits a rough patch later in the show. DAVID CHARVET Character- MATT BRODY Matt was introduced in Season 3 and is best remembered as the man Neely Capshaw (Nolin) accused of sexual harassment. Later CJ (Anderson) and Matt trick Capshaw into confessing her lie. JEREMY JACKSON Character- HOBIE BUCHANNON The only son of Mitch (Hasselhoff) and Gayle Buchannon (Wendie Malick), Hobie plays a carefree individual and a devoted son, who gets caught in a custody battle before coming to live with his father. NICOLE EGGERT Character- SUMMER QUINN The svelte beauty was introduced in Season 3. Her character struggled and subsequently overcame bulimia. She was also a close friend of Matt Brody (Charvet). PARKER STEVENSON Character- CRAIG POMEROY A lawyer-turned-lifeguard, Pomeroy was part of Season 1 and a recurring character in the later seasons. BILLY WARLOCK Character- EDDIE KRAMER A rookie with a rough past, Eddie Kramer was introduced in the first season as an orphaned teenager. His relationship with Shauni McClain (Erika Eleniak) and their marriage was the highlight of Season 3. ERIKA ELENIAK Character- SHAUNI MCCLAIN Eleniak plays a rookie lifeguard, Shauni McClain, who moves out of her parents’ house after they object to her relationship with Eddie Kramer (Warlock). In later episodes the two end up getting married. MONTE MARKHAM Character- CAPTAIN DON THORPE Markham brought depth and seriousness to the character of Captain Don Thorpe, a senior lifeguard.
