감독 Directed by: 신상옥 Shin Sang Ok 주연 Starring: 신영균 Shin Young Kyun, 최은희 Choi Eun Hee, 최무룡 Choi Moo Ryong, 박암 Park Am, 남궁원 Nam Koong Won, 이대엽 Lee Dae Yup, 윤인자 Yoon In Ja 줄거리 Synopsis: 6ㆍ25 전쟁이 한창이던 1952년 공군 강릉지구에 배대봉 중위(최무룡) 등 신입 조종사들이 전입해온다. 별명이 산돼지인 교관 나관중 소령(신영균)의 지도 하에 배 중위 등은 조종사로 성장해간다. 어느날 배 중위는 나 소령로부터, 나 소령의 동료였던 노도순(남궁원)의 미망인 아내 지선(최은희)를 소개받고 지선에게 사랑을 느낀다. 노도순이 전사한 후 지선을 돌보아왔던 나 소령는 지선과 배 중위의 새로운 사랑을 진심으로 축하해준다. 지선과 배 중위가 결혼한 지 얼마 후, 조종사들은 미국도 성공하지 못한 임무를 수행하러 나간다. 이 작전에서 배 중위는 노도순이 죽었던 것과 똑같은 상황에 처하지만 가까스로 구출된다. 그러나 나 소령는 작전을 성공시키고 전사한다. During the Korean War (1950-1953), whenever the air force makes a bombing raid in Pyeongyang, many people are victimized. Nevertheless, it sallies out everyday. Major Na Kwan-jong is a brave pilot, who flies fifty sorties. His fellow soldier dies in battle who is married to a madam of a bar. While another fellow soldier consoles her in grief, they fall in love with each other.
