Beat the ORAS Elite 4 with Two Level 1 Pokemon! | Pokemon Omega Ruby Level 1 Challenge

Are you guys excited about the new Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon News?! So am I! However, before we move onto the new generation, there's something cool in ORAS still! Recently I beat the Pokemon Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire Elite 4 (and Champion) using two LEVEL 1 Pokemon - WITHOUT letting them level up the whole time! That's right. I have a party of two level 1 Pokemon in my Hall of Fame without cheating, hacking, etc. Now, this feat took me a little over 9 hours to complete (and was streamed in one go at Twitch.tv/alexogloza). A lot of that time was comprised of me figuring out how the team works and the best way to go about beating each of the members of the ORAS Elite 4 with the level 1 Pokemon. The key to this strategy is to make sure your own Pokemon gets KO'd on the same turn your opponent's Pokemon gets KO'd, so that way nobody gets any experience points. This can be done through a number of tactics, including Rocky Helmet damage, Toxic, and even letting your opponent's Pokemon struggle until they KO themselves. We have to use a Skarmory and a Pineco for very specific reasons in this run. Sidney's Mandibuzz knows Bone Rush and would normally be able to bypass any Sturdy ability Pokemon if they weren't flying type (hence, Skarmory). Later, Drake's Haxorus has the ability Mold Breaker, which completely bypasses Sturdy, so we need a Sturdy user that can learn Toxic Spikes and Pain Split in order to KO the Haxorus at the same time it KOs us (hence the Pineco). I explain the entire method in the video so I won't get into it any deeper here, but that's just the theory behind why we have to use these two in order to beat the ORAS Elite 4 + Champion.
