Behind the scenes: Lip Sync | LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Episode 1 | TwinToo Bricks

Revisiting my old work to test out a new Lip sync engine I've made I found this little piece of work. Behind the scenes: LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Episode 1 A few people have asked me how I went about lip-syncing the animation I originally did on my channel. And as I am revisiting and creating myself a new lip sync engine within maya I thought I'd make this video listed so when I eventually, when I finish my next project people might be able to tell the difference. By no means was this the best way, it was just the easiest at the time - and didn't look too great! I drew all the needed drawings in photoshop. I then imported them into after affects. I cut a hole through the centre of the lips and animated the tongue and teeth along with lip sync animations I used in photoshop. I then exported these as a image sequence and imported them into maya where I applied them over the mouth of the characters.
