Her mother asks Carl to fix the TV. Carl gives Patrick the money to take the girl he likes to the theater. Jones still wants to kill Carl for the whole canned fish incident, so Carl plants an illegal apple in Jones' house and files a report to the ministry, leading to Jones' arrest. Patrick now needs 15,000 dollars to stay in college. If he doesn't get it, he'll have to drop out and work in the mine. After Jones' apartment is fixed, Allosius moves in. He's a doctor who asks Carl to help him find a girlfriend. Carl's daughter Martha's condition has gotten worse. She needs constant care and treatment which will be about 20,000 dollars. Because Carl couldn't come up with the money for Patrick's education, Patrick has to drop out, resulting in a 2,000 dollar fine. It takes place in a dystopian future where an oppressive government rules over its citizens. You play Carl Stein, a landlord who must maintain his apartment building for his tenants. Your real purpose, however, is to spy on the tenants and report any suspicious or illegal activity to the ministry, which may lead to that person's arrest or even assault. You could choose not to report on these activities, but the ministry is watching you and will be displeased if you don't. You can install security cameras in their homes, search their belongings, and send written reports about them to the ministry. You can even blackmail your tenants in order to get money that your family needs. Every decision in the game affects the way the story plays out, even minor ones, and there are multiple endings to experience.
