Bellringing from Elmsett, Suffolk (the world's best three...)

Some rounds before a successful and well struck quarter of Stedman Singles at St Peter's church, Elmsett, Suffolk. The bells were rehung, replaced and augmented to three using a mixture of new and second hand bells in 2008. The parish have bought a fourth bell and are intending to augment to 5 when funds become available. They are hung probably no more than 20 feet off the ground and hence are very quiet outside - perfect for a 3 bell peal :P As you would expect, they are a first class ring of bells and handle effortlessly. They sound lovely and are nice and loud in the ringing room, although the camera is positioned perhaps too close to the ceiling and the sound gets distorted - but that's partly because the camera takes rubbish quality videos. The only possible down-side to the bells is that they feel very out of place as a ring of 3! They are very much in tune with each other, the ringing room is tidy, they are on modern fittings and hardly require pulling... 1 - 1900 Taylor - 1-2-24 2 - 2004 Taylor - 2-1-10 3 - 2003 Taylor - 3-0-24 in F
