Violinist Robert Anemone, M.M. '14 and New England Conservatory's Philharmonia conducted by David Loebel, perform Alban Berg's Violin Concerto in NEC's Jordan Hall. The Violin Concerto was commissioned and premiered by Louis Krasner, a 1922 graduate of NEC and a member of it's faculty from 1976 until his death in 1995. Today, it is undoubtedly the most frequently performed work of the Schoenberg-Berg-Webern school. Robert Anemone, was a founding member of Boston's Discovery Ensemble and now performs with the Portland Symphony Orchestra.
