Here's 20 minutes of some Engineer gameplay using IFVs and MBTs. I was playing on a 1000 ticket server, and joined late when both teams were around 300 tickets. This is not meant to be an ownage video or a montage or anything of the sort, just a simple gameplay video that shows how I play in the tanks. Here's my typical layout for each vehicle: IFV: proximity scan, thermal optics, and APFSDS-T shell MBT: proximity scan, thermal optics, canister shell (or coaxial LMG depending on my mood) Some things to note about how I use the tanks: - I always use proximity scan and I am constantly checking the minimap, as well as scanning around beyond the reach of the proximity scan, especially when capping a flag alone. - When being attacked, I never get out until the barrage of missiles is over with, and when I do get out, I always look away from the enemy so I end up on the opposite side, using my tank as cover. Keep moving when you're repairing, never stand still. You never know if a sniper is watching you. The instant you start taking damage while repairing, jump back into the tank (Even if it's not finished repairing), look around for the threat, eliminate if possible, or relocate and continue repairing. - Notice the quick switches from my main cannon and my canister shell. Sometimes I do this too quickly and miss both shots, which is why I end up substituting the canister shell for the LMG in many cases. Canister shell is great for disabling low flying jets and helicopters. - If you're in a tank solo, use all of the stations to your advantage. You have a total of 3 guns, and 1 laser designator - use them all if you need to. Cannon, quickswitch to canister or coaxial LMG, switch to gunner's seat in the tank. Use the CITV station to tag enemy vehicles for your team if you're capping a flag and there isn't any action. - When fighting enemy armor, turn the front of your tank toward them, never engage with your side or back facing the enemy. - Never jump out of your tank just because you're taking damage unless you are 100% sure there is no infantry nearby to steal your tank. Monitor your HP and bail out when your tank is below 10% HP.
