Big Issue: Dying Dreams

Lake Wamala, a water body straddling the central districts of Mityana, Gomba and Mubende has been receding over years due to bad fishing, bad farming practices along the shores and climate change. The amount of fish being caught in the lake is at its lowest and hundreds of fishermen have abandoned the business.
